OUR WILD WHY
CREATED BY TWO SISTERS.
INSPIRED BY OUR CHILDREN.
BUILT FOR EVERY CHILD.
Our Wild Space was created by sisters Gemma and Amy, two mums who understand first-hand that every child experiences the world differently.
As parents of neurodivergent children, they have experienced the challenges that can come when children don’t always thrive in traditional environments. Amy’s own journey led her to home educate one of her children, inspiring an even deeper belief that every child deserves an environment where they feel safe, valued and able to learn in a way that works for them.
With over 16 years working in education between them, they wanted to create a space where differences are accepted and celebrated: a calming, nurturing environment where children can be themselves, build confidence, develop curiosity and thrive through meaningful experiences in nature.
Gemma is an experienced teacher at Cransley School with extensive knowledge of supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing. Her experience in the classroom has shaped her understanding that children flourish when they feel connected, understood and encouraged as individuals.
Amy is the founder of Wilde Languages, an education business built around personalised learning, and has undertaken additional training in SEND and inclusive practice.
Together, they combine professional knowledge with their own experiences as parents. They are enhanced DBS checked, safeguarding trained and paediatric first aid trained, creating a safe, supportive and neuroaffirmative space where every child feels seen, supported and free to grow in their own way.
